Experience
We appreciate how daunting it must be to come and visit a childminder when you have no experience of using one in the past. We therefore thought it might be useful to get an idea of our experience with looking after children. As John is new to Childminding, the information below has been put together by Helen. Although John hasn't yet gained much experience in actually looking after any other children, he does (of course) have experience with our own 2 children, plus has watched many of these children grow up!
My main experience to date has been with 0-8 year olds, however I have an older neice and nephew (aged 8 and 11) and also mix with friends and other childcarers with older children. Please find below a table giving details of the children I have cared for since I started childminding in 2005:
