Overnight Care
Overnight care can be provided for your child should you need this childcare option.
Your child will sleep in a cot or inflatable bed (age dependant) in bedroom 3. The bedroom will be warm/ventilated as needed and their bed will be made up for them with fresh bed linen.
If required, I will bath your child or provide a bath with assistance if necessary (dependant on age of child) and will provide a clean towel for your child to be dried. While still in the bathroom your child will then be dressed ready for bed, teeth and hair will be brushed before having a bedtime story read to them in their bed.
We have a cupboard in our bathroom and all you child’s toiletries can be kept there overnight.
We have a stair gate at the top of the stairs, this will ensure that there is no access to the stairs, and a baby monitor will be turned on to alert me should they awake.
Before I settle for the rest of my evening, I check that all doors and windows are closed and locked and that all unnecessary electrical appliances are switched off.
Your child will be checked before I go to bed, and I will wear appropriate night clothes should I need to attend to your child in the night.
While in my care, your child will have privacy using the bathroom and when in the bedroom, with only Helen attending to these needs.
My Emergency Evacuation policy will be in effect at all times, and we have smoke alarms at the top and bottom of the staircase.
I expect all parents to provide: Nightwear, Toothbrush/Paste, Hair Brush, Clean Clothing for the following day, Nappies & Bottles (if applicable), any Special Creams etc. and Emergency Contact Numbers.

Late Afternoon/Bedtime Routine
5.00 pm Hot Evening Meal & Dessert
5.30 pm Free Play Time
6.30 pm Bath Time / Night Wear
7.00 pm Bedtime Story & Bedtime
Following Morning
7.30am Breakfast
7.45/8.00am Wash/Dress
Followed by School run if weekday
If W/E, routine can be later then free playtime til collected
If a Friday or Saturday night, there may be the option of dropping your child home the following morning

Attainable contacts must cover all hours that I am caring for your child/ren.
Fee
The fee for this service is £70 per night (discounted to £50 per night for contracted mindees who have settled with me and in a good routine) - this charge covers the hours of 6.15pm - 8am the following morning. If your child has not attended my setting during the day of the overnight stay, the time they can arrive is between 6.15 and 7pm. If they have been with me during the day then the charge covers from 6pm. If this is a weekday and your child is not contracted to attend the following morning, they will need to be collected by 8am. If you need a later pick up time, this can be arranged as long as I am within my ratio of children allowed for that day. Any extra hours are charged at £4.30ph.
