Times & Fees
Helen's Little Angels Childminding Services operates Monday to Thursday, generally between the hours of 8am and 6pm, however I am willing to be flexible. Available until 4.30pm on Fridays during the school holidays.
Full Day
The hourly rate for Full Time between the hours of 8am and 6pm is £4.50 per hour (outside of these hours is charged at £5.25 per hour). This includes all nappies & wipes, drinks, snacks, breakfast/lunch (if required) and outings. Minimum hours for 'full day' is 8 hours.
Part Day
The hourly rate for Part Time between the hours of 8am and 6pm is £6.00 * per hour (outside of these hours is charged at £6.75 per hour). This includes all nappies & wipes, drinks, snacks, breakfast/lunch (if required) and outings. Minimum hours for 'part day' is 4 hours. The reason the fee is higher for part day is that I cannot always fill the rest of the day's 'space'.
* PLEASE NOTE MY PART DAY RATE WILL BE REDUCED TO £4.50 PER HOUR FROM SEPTEMBER 2012 (or possibly June) . This is due to changes in children moving up to school, ideally I would like to be able to keep on my current school children and this would only be possible if I fill the vacancies with children requiring care during school hours only. Please contact me for further information.
Most children in my care prefer to have an evening meal at home with their family, however an evening meal can be provided if required. There is a £2 charge per evening meal. I am happy to reheat meals provided by parents instead if prefered.
I accept the following childcare vouchers - Computershare, Accor, Kiddicare, Edenred Childcare & Co-op and am happy to register with any scheme that is available for parents using childminders.
Before/After School
Standard hourly rate (£4.50 per hour between 8am and 6pm, £5.25 per hour outside of these hours).
Minimum charge of 1 hour before school and 2 hours after school (except on Fridays which is 1 hour, as I close at 4.45pm). Please look at the 'Before/After School Club' page for further details.
School Holidays
Same as above, depending on whether attending for Part or Full day.
Overnight Care
The fee for this service is £70 per night (discounted to £50 per night for contracted mindees who have settled with me and in a good routine) - this charge covers the hours of 6.15pm - 8am the following morning. If your child has not attended my setting during the day of the overnight stay, the time they can arrive is between 6.15 and 7pm. If they have been with me during the day then the charge covers from 6pm. If this is a weekday and your child is not contracted to attend the following morning, they will need to be collected by 8am. If you need a later pick up time, this can be arranged as long as I am within my ratio of children allowed for that day. Any extra hours are charged at £4.50ph.

To help parents with forward planning, I usually provide my 'closure' dates for the whole year, in January. This will be equivilent to 4 weeks i.e. 20 days from January-December. Because I am providing these dates in advance to help parents, there may possibly be the need to take the odd day on top of those dates in case of emergency etc. I will always provide as much notice as possible (usually giving at least 1 month's notice)
Bank Holidays - no charge as closed.
Remember that you may be entitled to help with childcare fees so you may wish to look into this.
